I attended four schools in New York State: Addison, Woodhull, Jasper, Avoca.
And three high schools: Cedar City, Utah; Casa Grande, Arizona; Bagdad High School, Arizona where I graduated.
Four colleges: Yavapai Community College in Prescott, Ariz.; Goshen College in Goshen, Ind.; South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado, Ark. and Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Ark.
I tried teaching, but found that my interests matched my current job as a reporter at the El Dorado News-Times – where I do a lot of school news, special sections and write a weekly column – usually something about my family.
